The Journey Behind
BakeSimple
BakeSimple began not as a business idea, but as a personal experience shaped by time, travel, and reflection.
In 2019, our founder undertook a solo journey across parts of Europe. It was a period of exploration, marked by slow mornings and unplanned walks through neighbourhood streets. Along the way, she encountered small bakeries that quietly formed an important part of everyday life.
These bakeries were simple and welcoming. Bread was fresh, portions were balanced, and mornings unfolded at an easy pace. What stayed with her was not a particular recipe or place, but a feeling — the calm assurance that good food could be both nourishing and uncomplicated.
In 2026, BakeSimple was born from that intention — to offer European-inspired breakfast experiences that feel composed, familiar, and easy to enjoy.
